Recherche du Regard, de l\u2019Intime Accord\u00e9, de l\u2019Intime Non Viol\u00e9.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>L<\/strong>e complexe Urok se localise au nord de l\u2019archipel des Bijag\u00f3s (Guin\u00e9e Bissau) et englobe un ensemble d\u2019\u00eeles et d\u2019\u00eelots dont les principaux sont Formosa, Nago et Chedi\u00e3. L\u2019ethnie majoritaire, et autochtone, est constitu\u00e9e par les Bijag\u00f3s. Cette ethnie animiste a su au cours des d\u00e9cennies, \u00e0 travers une \u00e9conomie de subsistance et des r\u00e8gles judicieusement \u00e9tablies, pr\u00e9server un environnement d\u2019une rare diversit\u00e9 biologique.\r\n\r\n<strong>L<\/strong>es photographies pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es ici ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le cadre d\u2019un s\u00e9jour de deux ann\u00e9es pendant lesquelles je travaillais sur un projet de gestion participative et durable des ressources c\u00f4ti\u00e8res ; projet humain et visionnaire mis en place et conduit par l\u2019ONG bissau guin\u00e9enne Tiniguena <em>Essa terra e nossa<\/em>. <strong>E<\/strong>n immersion compl\u00e8te, le quotidien insulaire me devient familier. La simplicit\u00e9 des regards m\u2019enchante. C\u2019est d\u2019abord cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 que je vous invite ici \u00e0 caresser du regard. J\u2019ose aussi esp\u00e9rer que ces photographies donnent la r\u00e9plique \u00e0 l\u2019image r\u00e9currente d\u2019une Afrique pauvre et malade que les m\u00e9dias aiment trop souvent \u00e0 v\u00e9hiculer.\r\n\r\n<strong>P<\/strong>ar ailleurs l\u2019initiative Gens d\u2019Urok se veut aussi l\u2019introduction au projet documentaire Cabaro. Si la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Bijag\u00f3s a su pr\u00e9server une identit\u00e9 culturelle forte, elle n\u2019en est pas moins aujourd\u2019hui confront\u00e9e aux mutations sociales profondes que connaissent les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s traditionnelles. De plus en plus de jeunes pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent s\u2019affranchir du poids des traditions en \u00e9lisant domicile dans la capitale, Bissau. Dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 o\u00f9 la structure sociale repose sur un syst\u00e8me de classe d\u2019\u00e2ge, le refus d\u2019une part de sa Jeunesse de s\u2019approprier les traditions met en p\u00e9ril la coh\u00e9sion sociale de la communaut\u00e9 et donc sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9.\r\n\r\n<em>Les photographies sont agenc\u00e9es de fa\u00e7on raisonn\u00e9e o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente et la suivante ont un lien avec la photo regard\u00e9e. <\/em><em>Un premier passage offre un lien graphique o\u00f9 mouvement et regard de l\u2019image guident une premi\u00e8re lecture. Une connaissance plus intime du Milieu permet une seconde lecture o\u00f9 le lien d\u2019une image \u00e0 une autre n\u2019est plus graphique mais <\/em><em>social, culturel ou encore
